As St. Joseph becomes increasingly reliant on philanthropic gifts, the Foundation's vision of inspiring community involvement remains of growing importance to the health and well being of our community. Over the past eight months, St. Joseph Health System has provided nearly $2.85 million in uncompensated care through delivery of services to the poor and vulnerable, unpaid costs of public programs, financial assistance to the uninsured and underinsured and community outreach services. Our concern for the life and dignity of each person leads us to partner with our donors to support the care provided to the 83,700 residents and 9,000 seasonal residents of Iosco, Alcona, Arenac, Oscoda and Ogemaw counties.
