Moe Electric team, winners of the
17th Annual Charity Golf Classic
On Wednesday, June 15 the Foundation hosted their 18th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Lakewood Shores Golf Club in Oscoda.
Last year, the defeinding champion team of Moe Electric (Terry Stonehouse, Cloyde Miller, Rick Look and Randy Scales) finished in the top position with a score of 61 at the Red Hawk Golf Club.

More than 60 guests joined us for our our 2nd annual Garden Walk held in AuGres on Saturday, July 17.
With the generous partnership from the AuGres Garden Club and St. Joseph Volunteers, guests enjoyed a beautiful celebration tea following the walk
and heard an informative presentation on gardening tips from Jason at Roger's Nursery.
Proceeds from this annual event support the Scholarship Program established to invest in the dedication of personal and professional growth of the area’s youth. In the last two years, the Foundation has gifted $11,750 in scholarships.

Remember your loved ones this Holiday Season with a gift to our annual Hospice Tree of Lights. All proceeds benefit St. Joseph Hospice and their commitment of providing quality end-of-life care to those families in need.
Please remember or honor a loved one with a gift of $10 and have a light illuminated on our Holiday Tree allowing their name to be read during our Tree of Lights ceremony. For a gift of $25, you will receive a beautiful hand cast porcelain angel ornament and a light illuminated on the tree in honor of the person you are remembering. New!!! For your gift of $100, your loved one will be remembered/honored with an outdoor sign in front of their own tree of lights on the Health System property for the holiday season (Limited quantities of trees available)! Please join us on December 21, 2011 in classrooms A & B (inside the cafeteria) at 4:30 for refreshments, 5:00 for our Hospice Quilit Drawing and 5:30 for our Tree of Lights program!!!

Huron Shoreline Art Show

For the past three years, local artists have participated in the Foundation’s Huron Shoreline Art Show to help create a healing environment for patients and their families when coming to St. Joseph Hospital. Now hosting two shows a year, the Foundation has been able to purchase beautiful one-of-a-kind works of art for patient’s rooms created by local artists. The Huron Shoreline Art Show has attracted more than 75 artists who have submitted their original works of art to be juried into the show. These juried shows consist of all medium types including watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, pencil, mixed media, and photography.
All accepted art is for sale with a percentage of the proceeds donated to support the healing mission of St. Joseph Health System.

On March 11, 2011, more than 70 community members joined together for a fun evening of Euchre, Bunco and Farkle at the East Tawas Community Center to raise $2,800 to support the St. Joseph Health System Foundation Scholarship program!
Guests were treated to wonderful snacks provided by Neiman's of Tawas, and refreshments provided by Pepsi. Over 31 area businesses supported this exciting new annual event with game table sponsorships or gift baskets!
